Affiliate Marketing can be very profitable

Selling affiliate products works great when you have an existing reliable traffic source. Products related to your websites theme can convert to sales at a rate much higher than PPC or banner advertising. This is great for established sites, but makes entry dificult for new sites. One approach is tangent markets that are less competive but offer content of interest to the same demographic of users that would be also interested in more competive topics. This takes some imagination and may not generate large numbers of visitors but the traffic can be of the highest quality. The good news is that this type of traffic can generate as much revenue as high traffic sites in terms of return on investment.
